Daniel 7:27, “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”
Each year I keep a journal to write the Scripture that speaks to me the most as I read the Word each day. I write the Scripture and then write what I feel God is saying to me. This practice is one of the greatest blessings of my life. When I read the above Scripture in my daily reading, I was arrested by the phrase, “saints of the most High”. The word ‘saints’ in the Hebrew is qaddish and means ‘set apart, separate, holy’. The Knox version translates it correctly, “the people set apart for the most High.”
